Raw Land

The architects, Larry and Keith, arrived in Tennessee early spring 2007 to review our property. The land is off the grid, pristine, and holds much promise. Walking around, listening to the wind, water, and noting natural features, we decided upon our building site. The location is above a stream fed by springs and emptying into a popular canoeing river. Keith sat beneath these trees and sketched out the vision as he and Larry took our desires and gave them life on paper. It was thrilling to see ideas taken and shaped by artists.

The Dream

In the beginning...
there was a book...
The Rustic Cabin by Ralph Kylloe.
This book introduced us to Larry Pearson Design group in Bozeman, Montana who captured the essence of our cabin dream. A trip in late March 2007 to Bozeman allowed us to tour properties designed by this gifted group of dreamers. By the end of our visit, we had new friends, Keith & Larry, and the go-to-guys for our architectural vision.
